Unicom Data Collection (Dimensions) is one of the best survey systems on the market. The system is very complex in parts and this is where our proprietary Dimensions Add-Ons come into play. This allows you to make the most of Dimensions and design your surveys according to the motto "Everything is possible".
Due to the system architecture of Unicom Data Collection, data backup and the migration of projects to other installations without 2x4 Backup & Replication cannot be carried out sensibly. The tool makes it possible to export ALL information belonging to a project from an existing Dimensions Server. In addition to the mdd files, the project database and sample tables, all information from the DPM, quotas, email jobs and more related to the project is extracted.
During the backup a zip file is created for each project, which can easily be backed up internally in the network. These files can be reintegrated into other existing systems (e.g. a standby server). With the classic method of complete backup, only a technical defect of the server is prevented. However, as soon as there are problems with individual projects (e.g. a user accidentally deletes a project), 2x4 Backup & Replication can help quickly and easily. The tool is also suitable for migrating from one server to another, even if a different version of Unicom Data Collection is used.

After a participant has finished a survey, there is very often a desire for an overview of the questions asked and his own answers entered.
For Unicom Data Collection we have created the possibility to download a PDF file. Alternatively, an email with the PDF document can be sent to the respondent. Only those questions will be used which the respondent has seen himself. Other (off-path) questions are not displayed.
RespondentReport internally uses a Word based layout template, which can be adapted to the project requirements. This allows you to define your own templates for each survey. The price includes the installation (max. 2 hours) on the Unicom Data Collection Application Server via web session.
In surveys there is often the wish that the respondent can upload a file or a picture to the survey server. This is not possible with Unicom Data Collection. That is why we have created the 2x4 RespondentUploader module.
The mdd file defines which questions should allow the upload, which file types are allowed and whether one or more files may be uploaded.
2x4 RespondentUploader stores all files in the file system of the server in its own structure. This makes it easy to assign the uploads of the individual respondents and questions. Project managers can also display all files in a web overview.
Under www.mdd2pdf you can upload your mdd files to our server free of charge and receive a PDF or Word export as a file for download. This way you can easily print out paper surveys and enter them later in the web interview. Or you can use the documents for coordination with the end customers of the survey.
When downloading, you decide whether you want to export all questions from the mdd or only those used in the current routing. With further settings you can adapt the documents to your needs.
Wizards can be used in the Unicom Reporter to relieve you of various data transformations. This allows you to create special reports for which you would need hours or days for manual definition without a suitable wizard.

With this Wizard, tables in a certain format can be created as summary tables with just a few mouse clicks. To do this, the table specification is created using the user defaults and the built-in logic in such a way that the desired table is created at the end.
This tool exports data of a certain project in predefined time intervals and generates topline reports for it. This allows you to automatically send emails with the desired content to people who need access to current project information.
As soon as the tool is installed on the Application Server, users can configure their projects within ISA/DimensionNet with a simple text file.
In CATI projects it is often necessary to observe individual interviewers from a distance and to listen to the current interview. Unicom Interview CATI already has this requirement.
New with our Add-On is that the CATI Agent can see an ongoing monitoring on his screen. In some countries this is required by law. With the help of our CATI Monitoring Notification you comply with this obligation. By the way, the notification can also be deliberately suppressed by the supervisor. Despite the legal requirements, this is necessary in some cases.
In almost all countries, consumers have the right to subscribe to so-called Robinson lists. All telephone numbers in such a list may then no longer be used by market researchers.
Technically, this task is not easy to solve, since every telephone number must be checked shortly before dialing.
With our Add On we offer a very high-performance solution that can manage millions of numbers in the Robinson list. In addition, CATI agents can add the currently called person to the Robinson list at the push of a button.
Within Unicom Data Collection, e-mails can be sent very conveniently to the participant list. Different email jobs can be defined and sent at a certain time according to different criteria.
